Important: In case you still have the old Tukui Client (versions 2.x), you have to update it or even better uninstall it.This folder is used by Blizzard to store all the game and addon settings. WTF folder is in your World of Warcraft folder. Make a backup of your WTF folder in case something goes wrong or in case you wish to return to your old ui.Most of their plugins though, can also be found in Curse/Twitch or even in. Can only be downloaded from (see below). Standalone Tukui & ElvUI are not available in Curse/Twitch.In fact there is also a way skinning most them to fit with Tukui/ElvUI, via AddOnSkins. On the other hand, addons like Bagsync, damage meters like Skada, Recount, Details, BossMods like DBM or BigWigs etc, Clique, Weak Auras 2 and most of the rest WoW addons, will work fine. So, addons like Bartender and Dominoes for Actionbars and Z-Perl Unit Frames or Shadowed Unit Frames will not work well (if not at all). This means that they already have Blizzard frames skinned, unitframes and actionbars premade, etc. Tukui & ElvUI are complete Blizzard ui replacements. For those, downloading and installing the addon manually is a very simple process that can be done with minimal effort and typically only needs to be done whenever there's a new patch or major update. Once actually installed, the app is very straightforward and works much like you'd expect - updating addons without Overwolf's overlay or other frills. Ignore the "recommendation" and download the standalone version if you only want to manage addons without all the extra Overwolf functionality. Currently in Alpha, this client only supports Windows and World of Warcraft addons. In order to get the standalone version, you'll want to scroll down to CurseForge download options and select CurseForge Standalone (Alpha) from the drop down menu instead - or use this direct download link. Getting to the standalone app is a little misleading however, as the link in the article directs to the main download page for the Overwolf app. We’ve taken this into consideration and developed a standalone version of the CurseForge app on Windows, based on Electron, which you can download here. Many of the community members voiced their preference for a leaner approach to managing mods.
